Local Contract Med/Surg RN - $53 per hour

About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Butte, Montana.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to hospitalized patients in the Med-Surg unit.
• Assist with patient transfers from ICU to Med-Surg units as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Montana.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in Med-Surg setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
