Local Contract Med Surg Registered Nurse - $38-45 per hour

About the role

Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri is seeking a contract RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment. The shift is 12 hours, nights, and the duration is 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with medical orders and hospital policies
• Assess patients’ conditions and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in the medical record

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing quality patient care
