About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current state-issued Mammography Technologist license.
- Experience in mammography preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Proficient in mammography equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
