Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Long Term Acute Care Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control procedures.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a long-term acute care setting.
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
