Local Contract LDRP RN - $61-72 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a 13-week 36-hour-per-week shift working 12-hour days in Newport, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
• Assist physicians during childbirth and manage postpartum patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of postpartum care practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
