About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 14-week, 36-hour-per-week position in Miles City, Montana. Shifts are 12 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with the delivery of newborns and monitor postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service).
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Prior experience in labor and delivery preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
