About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Fresno, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with the delivery of newborns and monitor the progress of labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor the health and well-being of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
- Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current California RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
