About the role
A local hospital in Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts, is seeking a contract nurse RN for a 13-week assignment. The position involves working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under supervision
- Monitor fetal heart tones and other vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Assist with deliveries as needed
- Document patient care and procedures accurately
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an RN
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Electronic fetal monitoring experience necessary
- Must be willing to work 36 hours or more per week
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a current RN license and be able to pass a background check.
