About the role
The Great Hospital in Auburn, Washington, is seeking a local contract nurse RN for the Labor and Delivery department. The position is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift working nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform routine and emergency tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
- National Registry of Emergency Technicians (NREMT) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Labor and Delivery (LDRP) experience preferred.
- C-section experience preferred.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include LDRP certification and experience with neonatal resuscitation.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in medical terminology are essential.
