Local Contract Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $59-69 per hour

About the role

Hospital in San Jose, California is seeking a travel labor and delivery (L&D) nurse. The position is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, night shifts only.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in labor and delivery
• Assist physicians during childbirth and postpartum care
• Monitor patient vitals and administer necessary medications
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP)
• Current California RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications

Qualifications

• Experience in labor and delivery preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
