Local Contract Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $57-67 per hour

About the role

Hospital at the base of the Rockies needs a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for an ASAP start for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist physicians during childbirth and monitor mother and baby’s condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Colorado.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
• Proficient in computer systems used for patient care documentation.

Schedule
