Local Contract Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $47-55 per hour
About the role
The Large Level I hospital in WA state needs a 1 day and 1 night shift L&D nurse for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in labor and delivery
- Assist physicians during deliveries
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Document patient progress and treatments accurately
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Participate in rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WA state
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
