About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract Labor and Delivery RN in Urbana, Illinois. Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurses care for women during labor and childbirth, monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers, and assisting doctors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mother and baby during labor and childbirth.
• Coach mothers through the stages of giving birth.
• Assist physicians during delivery.
• Prepare women and their families for each stage of labor.
• Support patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery.
• Contract duration: 13 weeks.
• Schedule: 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Employment type: Local contract.
