Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $77-81 per hour

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist in Morgantown, West Virginia. This 13-week hospital contract offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring during vascular and neuro interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique while assembling supplies and preparing for procedures.
• Observe patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Prepare entry sites using sterile techniques, ensuring infection control standards.
• Continuously monitor patient's ECG and blood pressure; notify physicians of any activity.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, providing emergent procedure support 24/7.
• Act as the code team, initiating resuscitative measures under physician supervision.
• Document all procedures accurately and efficiently bill for services rendered.
• Educate radiography students on patient positioning, technique, and equipment use.
• Maintain expertise in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures including cerebral coiling, Kyphoplasty, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting.
• Participate in inventory management, performance improvement, and patient preparation.
