Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $71 per hour

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying sterile drapes.
• Operate equipment to assist in the performance of procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care activities and procedure details accurately and timely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
