Local Contract Interventional Radiology Tech - $79 per hour

About the role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. The role also includes administering small amounts of radioactive substances (radiopharmaceuticals) and other medications for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform diagnostic imaging scans of organs or body parts.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other prescribed medications to patients.
• Ensure proper handling and safety of radioactive substances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Allied Health Professional discipline certification.

Schedule

• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts
• Local contract employment
