About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a cardiac progressive care unit setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and other safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in a progressive care unit preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac care principles and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
