Local Contract ICU Registered Nurse - $51-60 per hour

About the role

Hospital in Huron, SD looking for an ICU RN starting ASAP. 36 hours guaranteed. ACLS, ENPC or PALS required (TNCC preferred). The RN would also be required to float to Med/Surg and Tele units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with medical orders and hospital policies.
• Assess patients’ conditions and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support procedures as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment interventions in the medical record.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota.
• ACLS, ENPC, or PALS certification (or TNCC preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of recent ICU experience.
• Experience with patient monitoring and treatment administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
