About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Maywood, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
- Perform assigned patient care duties according to established policies and procedures
- Assess patients’ conditions and document observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit preferred
- Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
