About the role
A hospital in CT is looking for an experienced ICU RN for a 13 week travel assignment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recent ICU experience, BLS, ACLS and CT license. Cases: Sepsis; Respiratory failure; Medical surgeries; Renal failure; liver failure; Stroke; trauma; Etoh/substance detox; substance OD.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of critically ill patients
- Assessment and documentation of patient conditions
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Emergency response and management
- Documentation and communication with families and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS and CT license
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience
Qualifications
- Current RN license in CT
- Experience with critical care procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
