About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
- Assess patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in an ICU setting preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced medical procedures and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
