Local Contract ICU Registered Nurse - $41-48 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. This position offers 36 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours, including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care to patients in an intensive care unit setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Knowledge of critical care protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
