Local Contract ICU Registered Nurse - $38-45 per hour
About the role
A Mid-Sized Hospital in Milwaukee is in need of an ICU RN for its mostly general ICU population. The position offers 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in an intensive care unit setting.
- Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in an ICU setting preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
