About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This position offers 32 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is 13 weeks long.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Manage surgical equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
