About the role
Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
- Help patients with daily living tasks as directed by the physical therapist.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in a home health setting preferred but not required.
