About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Endoscopy for a local contract nursing job in Beckley, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assess patient conditions and document findings accurately
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during procedures
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed
- Document patient care activities and results in medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current RN license in West Virginia
- Experience in endoscopy preferred
- Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Proficiency in endoscopic instrumentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
