About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Dyersville, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in the Med Surg area of the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient interactions and treatments accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency department protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
