Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Bay City, Michigan. The assignment is at McLaren Bay Region, a 415‑bed acute care hospital providing cardiovascular, neuroscience, women’s health, orthopedics, rehabilitation, home health and hospice care, EMS and oncology services. The ED treats more than 45,000 patients annually. Employment details: specialty ED, discipline RN, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour evening shifts, local contract type. Additional site‑specific policies include nonbillable hours (12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr), overtime/holiday/call‑back markups of 1.1× regular rates, a $1/hr extension discount on the initial extension, a 10% rate reduction for local travelers within a 35‑mile radius, and a three‑strike attendance policy (absence, >20 minutes late, incomplete shift, or early departure without approval results in a strike; three strikes leads to immediate termination, with extenuating circumstances reviewed case‑by‑case).
