About the role
We are seeking a talented contract nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Knowledgeable in emergency medicine protocols
