Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Unit staffing: Unit secretary 21 hours/day, 5 RN core (10a-10p)
• Type of equipment: Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Every third weekend, mid-shift schedule (as early as 10a-2230, as late as 1300-0130)
• Floating policy: Rare, only if other staff have been flexed home
• Patient Experience requirements: Use of AIDET, whiteboards, positive attitudes, "can do" culture

Hospital Specifics

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC (prefer CPI, CEN)
