About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Albany, Oregon. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and is 13 weeks in duration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
  • Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient care activities and progress in medical records

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current BLS certification

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
