About the role
We are seeking a contract nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Springfield, Tennessee. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and is 13 weeks in duration.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in emergency department setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
