About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room under the supervision of a surgeon.
- Assist surgeons during cardiac surgeries, including setting up instruments, draping, and maintaining sterile field.
- Manage post-operative patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations related to surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Current RN license in South Carolina.
- CVOR certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in cardiovascular operating room preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour days.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular surgery techniques.
