Local Contract CT Technologist - $70 per hour

Local contract opportunity for a CT Technologist in Libertyville, Illinois.

About the role

Level 1 Trauma Center with a Level II NICU, teaching hospital, and Magnet designation. Primary Stroke Center with 273 beds. COVID-19 vaccination required by the facility.

• Approximately 50 patients per shift
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Inpatient and outpatient general CT and vascular patients
• Appropriate PPE provided

Schedule

• Duration: 7–8 weeks, with potential to extend to support an approved 6-month timeline
• 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift days: Monday – Thursday
• No on-call or callback requirements
• No weekend rotation; no holiday requirements
• Alternating weekends required after orientation
• 2–3 call shifts required per month (maximum)

Responsibilities

• Perform general CT and vascular imaging
• Operate EPIC charting system and client-specific equipment
• Adhere to departmental protocols and safety standards

Requirements

• 2 years of experience preferred; level 1 or level 2 trauma experience a plus
• BLS, ACR, and IEMA certifications required
• EPIC experience is mandatory
• First-time travelers considered upon review
