Local Contract CT Technologist - $63-68 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to physician orders. In this role, you will operate specialized CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images that assist radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on patients according to physician orders and established protocols
- Produce high-quality cross-sectional images of anatomical structures for diagnostic interpretation
- Utilize Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for documentation and imaging workflow
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
- Follow established radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate issues when necessary
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT Certification – Radiography and CT [ARRT (R)(CT)]
- Strong technical ability and the confidence to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
