Local Contract CT Technologist - $54 per hour

About the role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to ensure their comfort and safety
• Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current certification in CT Technology from a recognized organization
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills

Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging equipment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
