Local Contract CT Technologist - $51 per hour

About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a 13-week, 36-hour per week position in Beckley, West Virginia. The CT Technologist uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing various diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret images and provide necessary patient information
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process
• Adhere to strict radiation protection protocols
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Current certification as a CT Technologist
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer software related to medical imaging

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
