About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a 13-week, 40-hour per week position in Smyrna, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
- Accurately document patient information and images
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a CT Technologist in Georgia
- Experience with CT imaging equipment and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam
Skills
- Proficiency with CT imaging software
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Effective problem-solving skills
