Local Contract CT Tech - $74 per hour

About the role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide clinical guidance
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a CT Technologist from a recognized organization
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency with computed tomography equipment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 8 hours, evenings
