Local Contract Charge Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing - $80-86 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, and shared governance programs.
• Support the orientation and development of new staff and nursing students.
• Complete all required continuing education and mandatory training.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross, or HSI.
• 6 months to 3 years of RN clinical experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
