Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $76-81 per hour

Local contract position in Somerville, New Jersey for a Cath Lab Technologist. Assignment starts 09/08/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 7 cardiac cases per day, including:
• Cardiac catheterizations
• Permanent pacemaker implants
• Peripheral angiographies
• Operate and maintain equipment:
• Philips X-Ray
• Impella
• Balloon Pump
• Acist Injector
• Document procedures in EPIC and Merge systems
• On-call duties: 9 shifts per month (Mon–Thu 5 PM – 6 AM) plus one weekend per month

Requirements

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a Cath Lab
• Current BLS certification
• Active state license plus either ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS credential
• Experience with first-time travelers and local candidates accepted

Schedule

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 10-hour days, 40 hours per week
