Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $68-72 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Schenectady, New York.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in New York State.
• Experience in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
