Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $62-66 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Texas.
• Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Completion of an accredited Cath Lab Technologist program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating catheterization lab equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
