About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week position in Toledo, Ohio. The shift is 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to physicians
- Prepare and maintain records of patient data and procedures performed
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
