Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for catheterization procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in Virginia.
• Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating catheterization laboratory equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
