About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in North Carolina.
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiology technology.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment and technology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours, days, with a start date of July 18, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks.
