Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $48-52 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning.
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain records.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Tennessee.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Completion of an accredited cath lab technologist program.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
