About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Commerce, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and coordination of patient transport.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Cath Lab Technologist program.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
