Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $42-49 per hour
About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week position in Columbia, South Carolina. Shifts are 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac cath lab technology
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
