Local Contract Cath Lab Technician - $62-66 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Monitor patient vital signs and record data accurately.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure.
• Document procedures and patient care activities in the medical record.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Wisconsin.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Current CPR certification.

• Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
